A Unique Wedding Venue
Royal Holloway is a stunning, historic wedding venue nestled within 135 acres of parkland in Egham, Surrey. There are several impressive function spaces, licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships as well as wedding receptions, all located in the spectacular Grade 1 listed Victorian Founder’s Building.

The two beautiful quadrangles around which the building was built offer plenty of opportunity for romantic photographs and drinks receptions.
Who do you think your wedding venue appeals to?

Can you explain the process a couple can expect once they have booked their wedding with you right through to on the day of the wedding?
A member of the team is available to answer any questions that a couple may have during the whole process. After a wedding is confirmed with us we will send some information on what happens next and other useful planning ideas. We book our wedding couple in for a menu tasting and planning meeting around 4 months before the special day. This gives couples the chance to choose a wedding breakfast menu and during the planning meeting we will discuss the plans for the entire day. We keep an open dialogue after this time and we are on hand to help and advice. A final planning meeting is made for around 2 weeks before your wedding day to discuss all the final details and arrangements. At the meeting you will also get the chance to meet the Events Manager who will be running your wedding day. We will also make arrangements for you to deliver some of your key items such as table plan and place cards for our team to set up.
What has been one of your favourite weddings to host and why?
It is very hard to choose just one wedding as each couple is different and they all put their own personal touch on their wedding day. It is however always a special moment to have couples that met while they were studying at Royal Holloway come back to make more memories and get married here.
